Unfortunately the problem with SpamAssassin is that all the spam we
should be complaining to ISPs about we are simply silently accepting and
ignoring (perhaps reporting to DCC, Pyzor, Razor and Bayes...) and
/dev/null, that's it. For spammers, SA, it "only makes them stronger"
so to speak.

Maybe it's better if we actually report the spam to ISPs instead of
sucking it up... think of all the evidence these prosecutors would have.
Maybe SA should have some kind of ISP reporting system or template.

Actually, it may be easier to just setup a script that parses the spam folder, sends off notices to all the associated ISP's automatically with complete headers so that they have something to research and use as evidence, then files the emails into a "reported spam" folder. You can then review the folder like once a week, if there's nothing in there you wanna keep, just dump the folder and you're all set. The script itself could be setup to run every night at like 1am. Not sure if the script would generate any bounce mails, but even if it did there's always ways to deal with that. :)

But I do agree, we really need to come up with a spam reporting system. By reporting these spamming loosers instead of just silently sucking up and disposing of their garbage, we might actually be able to put an end to spam. Personally, this would tickle me to no end as my spam ratio has gone up to nearly 85% as of late. So anything is a welcome change.
