If I learn something as ham that was learnt previously as spam
does it go ahead and clean up the bayes for the words it previously learnt
as spam or not? or does it simply leave all that in place and learn the same
words this time as ham?

why do you want to forget a message?
#forget old spam $spamtest->learn($learnmail, undef, 0, 1); #learn as ham $spamtest->learn($learnmail, undef, 1, 0);
there's no point, just learn as ham.
