Yes I've seen the comments. Mail::Audit supports Maildir and implements forward. Two things
I need for my solution.


Again though it's puzzling to me why sometimes I can learn and other times I cannot
when each time the thing it's learning from at least from the SA level APIs is the
Mail::Audit.

We've pretty much already dropped Mail::Audit support. Mail::SpamAssassin::NoMailAudit is really the only way to encapsulate messages in SA.
