Never mind, the Received headers are correct, it's the attached spam
message that shows the full chain of headers back to the originating
server. That whole Received... with Spamassassin thing through me for a
loop.

Not so dumb. I've been thinking of making an enhancement request to have SA copy the original headers into the containing spam report wrapper header, possibly as X-Spam-Received: lines or some such. The reason? As it stands, I have to open the attached spam, if I wish to view the spam message headers in my mail client (Outlook, sorry), and that's not something that I really like to do.
2.6x DOES display ALL the headers in the spam report....
