I had asked about the meaning of the message "Learned from 0 message(s) (12 message(s) examined)". As several people told me, the issue was that I was missing the module perl-DB_File. I downloaded the RPM (perl-DB_File-1.804-88.3.i386.rpm) from Red Hat, installed it (using the command, as root, rpm -ivh perl-DB_File-1.804-88.3.i386.rpm), and now sa-learn tells me that it is learning from my Missed-Spam folder.
