Actually, I think I remembered! I think what I did was to run sa-learn --rebuild *on the correct db directory* I'm pretty sure it has to be a directory. Anyways, let me know if that works out for you!
Thanks for your help, but It's not perm or bad path related, It's a concurrency problem, that's why I've asked If syncing and expirying could happen at the same time.
