Hi, I've implemented the latest popcorn, backhair, weeds and evilrules11 on our spam filter - they have hit our spam levels very hard. I see that there are a lot of archive files. Is the idea with these that you add all the archive files into the filter as well or are you supposed to just run with the latest version. I'm running SA 2.60 on quite a meaty box so it should be able to handle the extra load if this is possible.
Thanks in advance Sam -----Original Message----- From: Chris Santerre [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 20 November 2003 19:45 To: Spamassassin-Talk (E-mail) Subject: RE: [SAtalk] Evil Rules update! Sorry to have to reply to my own message :) If anyone has feedback about the improvement of the speed of these, please let me know. I'm hoping those who had problems using the whole list, can at least use more of them now. I've also found a nice way of getting more spam into the evilrules corpus. Should help with all the missing ones that my MTA now denies due to RBLs. I'm also going to standardise the file name for those wishing to update easier. Also going to add some standard comments into the file. (ie: like the hit frequency file) per requests. I've also decided to play with my update schedule :) every 15 days is predictible by spammers. So you never know. Could be 5 days, could be 17. --Chris > -----Original Message----- > From: Chris Santerre [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Wednesday, November 19, 2003 12:39 PM > To: Spamassassin-Talk (E-mail) > Subject: [SAtalk] Evil Rules update! > > > Here is the latest on my SARE: > > www.merchantsoverseas.com/wwwroot/gorilla/evilrules12c.cf > > They should run faster now!
