I had to deal with this on a mailing list of thousands of users. My only
recourse was to write a quick-n-dirty Perl script to run through the
subscriber list and send everyone a very official-sounding letter
'reminding' them of their subscriber details, and then any that bounced back
would have the original message plus the "Received" headers showing me where
everything forwarded ... found my culprits within minutes and removed them
from the list involved.
