For every submission I keep getting the below bounce / along with advertisement. This is quite ironic on a list dedicated to attacking spam.
I have a suggestion. I'm not sure what admin capabilities the list administrators have using the sourceforge lists, but here is my advice: Modify your mailing list software (I'm assuming it is smartlist, based on procmail) so that before the mail is sent to each subscriber the subject is rewritten to include the address of the recipient. Then send a mail to the list and when you get a bounce back from 'thewizard.net' you will see the original address it was sent to in the returned subject header. Then you can unsubscribe the fool. Then revert the list configuration back to the original state. If using smartlist you probably need to modify rc.submit. A simpler method might just be write a script to use the 'dist' list and send a test email to every user on the list which contains the recipient address in the subject. This should also get you a bounce that will tell you who is forwarding. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Wed, 19 Nov 2003 18:36:25 +0000 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: Ken Bass <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Undeliverable Mail: [SAtalk] Razor problems We were unable to deliver your email.
