2.60 works great. It works much better when you use Bayes and network
checks. Note that both of the latter have been significantly improved
over 2.55.

I've been running 2.55 since it came out, but since about the time
2.60 was released have been immersed in other things and not
following the list discussions especially closely. But it was my
early impression that 2.60 exhibited a number of problems, though I
lacked a clear sense of what they were, so I didn't upgrade then.
I usually avoid the bleeding edge of current software developments
so haven't been tempted by the 2.70 CVS version.
Still, I'm seeing a slowly rising tide of false negatives as
spammers figure out now to slip things past the rule set, despite
continuing to salearn them as spam on a daily basis.
My question therefore is whether 2.60 is generally working well for
most people (I suspect that's the case) and the various problems --
slowdowns, RBL checks (I don't use them), etc. -- result from
special rather than general circumstances.
