Anyway, I downloaded the sources, built it, and installed it with no problems. I rebuilt the Bayes db. When I started it (in debug mode) it logged this and then exited:

I've searched the usual places for an indication of anyone else having the problem. I have gone back and used CPAN, but TextCat is exactly the same. I find nothing indicating prerequisites or requirements that I don't have.
I've rolled back to 2.55 (but don't have a good feeling that I've not broken something since I rebuilt the database file before). I don't get any errors now, but wonder what can I do to upgrade to 2.60?
