Robban, I've never used sendmail (too daunting for a newbie!), however, I use postfix + spamassassin on a RH9 box to do filtering on mail that is relayed to our exchange boxes.
postfix is really easy to setup for this purpose, and if you take a look at http://postfix.cnc.bc.ca/twiki/bin/view/Main/SpamAssassinAndPostFix there is a simple script that will hook it into spamassassin. regards, Paul -- Paul Hutchings Network Administrator, MIRA Ltd.
