Those emails are Viruses, not Spam - why not get some Anti Virus
Software?

My e-mail provider uses Spam Assassin. Lately I have been getting
about a thousand e-mails telling me to patch my Windows. I use
MailWasher to delete these, as if I leave on vacation my in box gets too
large for Outlook to handle.

I let my provider know an they bumped Spam Assassin up to level 3, but
all this did was filter out good e-mail - I still get my offers to patch
Windows. So I checked with my provider and they told me:

I'm not sure how to do this, but first started reading the docs. This
language seems to be designed for someone with a completely different
programming background than I have (30 years mainframe CoBOL &
database). I was expecting to be able to add some simple rules, but it
appears that I have a big learning curve ahead of me to get rid of these
annoying spam/viruses.

What is the best way to start my education? I expect to stop as soon
as I get this task completed.
