I like RPMs for everything.  CPAN's nice, but 1) it's different from
everything else on the system, 2) it's easier to know what modules are
installed with RPM, 3) it's easier to clone installations with RPM,
and 4) I can use CPAN to make the RPMs and get the best of both worlds. ;)


Note: This is at least on my home server.  The other folks at work don't
share my view that you should make a package for everything, and they
do random stuff to install software ...
