I am running SA 2.55 and have been adding e-mail addresses and domains to a whitelist config file in /etc/mail/spamassassin/. I have run spamassassin -D --lint and have found no error reports.
My /etc/mail/spamassassin/ files are being loaded because I created a /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf files and overridden the default spam threshold of 10 down to 5. This is reflected in my /var/spool/mail.log file. My problem is that I have false positives routinely getting trapped as spam even though they are white listed. I have added whitelist_from and even whitelist_from_rcvd rules for these false positives. I just tested my problem from a webmail account. I created a SPAM message that I knew would score high and it did 7.1 out of 5, the filter worked and the mail was blocked. I then added a: whitelist_from [EMAIL PROTECTED] and even whitelist_from [EMAIL PROTECTED] and on each occasion the mail is not whitelisted. Am I missing something here??? Is there any config option that would override my specified whitelists? Thanks, Dan ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program.
