Is it possible to write in log the IP of the source server and not 127.0.0.1? I use qmail->qmail-scanner ->spamd (spamassassin) Sep 8 07:03:47 email spamd[7832]: connection from localhost [127.0.0.1] at port 40938 Sep 8 07:03:47 email spamd[18364]: checking message <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> for qmailq:500. Sep 8 07:03:51 email spamd[18364]: identified spam (17.1/5.0) for qmailq:500 in 4.3 seconds, 7784 bytes. Um...from the perspective of spamd, the connection is coming from the localhost so the source address is quite correct. If you mean the source IP address of the remote mailserver that delivered the message being checked, this can only be known by your MTA (qmail). Someone correct me, if I'm wrong.
