There's a couple of issues that I need help with, based on what I'm seeing in the logs. I think they're all related:
1. "Still running as root" 2. cannot write to ~/.spamassassin/bayes_journal 3. bayes expire_old_tokens: lock:490 cannot create tmp lockfile...
I cannot tell if this is spamass-milter or spamd generating these errors - in any case I've tired adding a -u <username> to SM_EXTRA_FLAGS= in the spamass-milter startup but it says "not recognized". And I've added -u <username> to the init for spamassassin as well.
I'm trying to run this system wide, so no per user configs are necessary. Can someone help me out? Should I set up spamd and the milter to run under the same userid? Do I even need to do this?
Any advice for a helpless newbie would be greatly appreciated. Tried to insert log messages but the message with them was rejected.
