Hello.
Redhat 7.3, SA 2.55; PII 400 with 256Mb Ram.

The other night spamd crashed. I upgraded SpamAssassin to 2.60; converted the DB_File.
If I restarted spamd, things start out fine; process time was under a second.
Eventually process time increased until spamd crashed.

I'm calling spamd from Postfix, version 1.1.12; with the script from advosys.ca
http://advosys.ca/papers/filter-misc/SA-only.sh.

I used the -m num option to limit the number of children; and now the mail is flowing
smoothly once again, taking approximately 2.5 seconds to process mail instead of
22451.95 seconds.

I am curious to know if this is a known problem, and -m is the fix, or if I should
keep looking for the underlying cause. Any advice appreciated.

Thanks,
Candee
