Yes.  Sendmail is probably using procmail for delivery, which means you
can set up a global procmailrc file to feed the email through Spamassassin
and then filter on the tags installed by Spamassassin.

Configuring sendmail has a bit of a learning curve to it.  If you were
going to go to that extent, you might want to go further and install
postfix or another modern MTA.  You don't have to stay with sendmail
just because it's there.  :)

But as I said, it's probably not necessary.
