I subscribe to 13 lists that rarely, if ever are spammed. I just filter 
them [before] I call SA in my .procmailrc:

:0:
* ^Subject.*SAtalk*
sa

:0fw: spamassassin.lock
| /home/kc8hr/bin/sausr/bin/spamassassin

:0:
* ^X-Spam-Status: Yes
SPAM

This way, only mail addressed to me--and spam--is sent to SA.
