Thanks for pointing this out. I didn't install a newer version, because I 
thought SuSE would make updated RPMs available if the new version is worth 
upgrading to. I've now asked them to make updated RPMs available.

In the meantime, I've made ( and installed ) my own SuSE RPMs of 2.55, using 
their source RPM of 2.50 as template. I don't trust my own RPM packaging 
skills enough to publish them, but they seem to work, I'll see how much spam 
will evade the filters now.
