Hello,

SpamAssassin works quite well, but some amount of spam is not detected. So I
would like to train the BAYES filter with undetected spam mails and have a
question about this. I do not use IMAP, but I use Microsoft Outlook 2000.

The FAQ says:

>One issue here is that you will need all the headers of those
>messages for the learner to work effectively, including the
>Received headers.
>
>For users using Outlook 2000, get them to use
> (double-click to open the mail in its own window)
>      -> Actions
>      -> Resend This Message
>and bounce it to the mailbox address.

Even when I do this, the RECEIVED headers of the original message will not
appear in the spam/ham mailboxes. Sendmail adds new RECEIVED headers just as
if it was a normal new mail message. This seems quite logical to me, as the
mail IS sent through sendmail as a new message.

Is this bad? Can I do anything to put the original spam messages from
Outlook into the learner?

The bayes files (bayes_toks etc.) are stored in /root/.spamassassin. Does
this mean that the bayes filter works for root's mails only, or does it also
work for everyone else?

Another question: RAZOR2_CHECK only adds 2.1 points. Why so little? Some
mails that are already listed in Razor are not detected as spam.

Thank you very much for some hints!!

Thomas
