I've been pondering an idea for an improvement to SA. Would anyone else find the following to be useful:

report_safe_attach_threshold -- set threshold above which a mail has to score to have report_safe level 1 applied (attach original message as MIME part)

report_safe_defang_threshold -- set threshold above which a mail has to score in order to have report_safe level 2 applied (Attach original message as text/plain).

rewrite_subject_threshold -- threshold above which a subject is rewritten (Probably not very useful, depending on how your end users filter mail).

Was thinking that the above could allow finer control over defanging "very spammy" emails, while not annoying users who receive "spammy looking" legit mail.

The rewrite_subject_threshold would obviously not be useful if the users filter on the Subject: line (like most old Outlook users), since you may as well set required_hits to that value, but it may be useful if they sort into different folders depending on X-Spam-Level:

Not sure if I'll get around to making a patch, but figured I'd float a trial balloon.

Thanks,

--Rich
