KM> I had the same problem with Bayes... eventually, I just turned it off.
Do you have any idea why the two of you have had this problem? I've been running OK with SA and Bayes on three different servers, and I've never intentionally or manually wiped or rebuilt the database. Oldest database is now 3 months old, and I get no FNs because of it.
Personally, I never wiped the database or anything like that; I just set "use_bayes 0" in local.cf to turn it off. I haven't tried using the Bayes token reader to see what sort of tokens were in the db; I only just heard about it earlier today, in this thread.
I do recall that I was getting a lot of very spammy messages, which would have scored enough to be filtered, except that they also scored BAYES_00, BAYES_01, or BAYES_10, and thus got their scores lowered by 5 or 6 points. Naturally, I found this very annoying.
I simply let Bayes auto-learn from my current incoming mail; I didn't feed it huge spam/ham corpuses.
