Do you have any idea why the two of you have had this problem? I've been
running OK with SA and Bayes on three different servers, and I've never
intentionally or manually wiped or rebuilt the database. Oldest database

Personally, I never wiped the database or anything like that; I just set "use_bayes 0" in local.cf to turn it off. I haven't tried using the Bayes token reader to see what sort of tokens were in the db; I only just heard about it earlier today, in this thread.


I do recall that I was getting a lot of very spammy messages, which would have scored enough to be filtered, except that they also scored BAYES_00, BAYES_01, or BAYES_10, and thus got their scores lowered by 5 or 6 points. Naturally, I found this very annoying.

I simply let Bayes auto-learn from my current incoming mail; I didn't feed it huge spam/ham corpuses.
