The above appears to be a recipe for Procmail. I've just started using
Procmail as an LDA and really like its performance, but remain unclear
about on issue. Overall, I'm running the following:
FBSD-4.8
Sendmail-8.12.8p1
Spamass-milter (current ver)
SpamAssassin-2.55 (running spamd as daemon using)
Procmail-3.22 (using global procmailrc only)

Using the above configuration, with spamass-milter also set to block emails
at a certain threshold, its appears that spamd/spamass-milter has already
filtered the emails before handing off to Procmail. I have recipes to catch
others in Procmail. I don't have SA set as above at all in Procmail, since
it is already loaded.

Further, I read that spamd has a default email limit of 250kb which can be
modified of course as above recipe, so the above setting in PM would be
redundant (I suppose)

Yesterday was my first (know) occasion where the number of spamd instances
went crazy and I have to kill/restart (during that little time a bunch of
spam scurried through). I believe there is a switch (-m)I could try when
loading spamd to limit the max children that might control this.

My question is are there any flaws to the way I have things set up...??
...and will the -m switch work for spamd without losing any filtering...??

Appreciate any feedback.... thanks!
