Howdy.

I'm having a bit of confusion around virtual users in spamassassin with qmail. I would like to use a configuration based on the username part of the 'rcpt to' email address of a message. I had hoped that running spamd with:

/usr/bin/spamd -s mail -u alias -i 0.0.0.0 -A 127.0.0.1 -d -L -x --virtual-config-dir=/usr/share/spamassassin/domains/%u

and spamc

... would do the right thing. However, it seems that the virtual-config-dir that is being consulted is:

Using default config for qmailq: /usr/share/spamassassin/domains/qmailq/user_prefs

What am I missing? Is there a way to allow the email address to be consulted for %u and %d, instead of looking at the local user running spamc?

Thank you for any tips.
