Yers - had this with amavisd-new and SA 2.60-CVS. It was a DNS problem. You'll
get it each time the DNS server that you're pointing at comes up with a duff
result. An example would be, that you're pointing at a non-recursive DNS server, or another that the server refuses to service you.

That's weird. As I said, it works fine a lot of the time - just the odd one (well, if one per 20 emails is 'odd') causes this error. *However* - it causes SA to crash - i.e. the message isn't tagged correctly. Doesn't this imply some error checking is needed in that area?
