Just, FYI

I'm not sure if it's applicable to other countries - it more than likely is
if you can find the correct details...

The South African Police Service are actually investigating multiple cases
of fraud and other crimes against these spammers. South Africans have been
asked to forward the mails to [EMAIL PROTECTED] They have also
established a local web site, http://www.saps.org.za/cimeprev/nig.htm as
well as http://home.rica.net/alphae/419coal/

Just for those with more time... The article reads...

The inevitable "419" scam offering you millions of dollars if you make your
bank account and other details available to shady characters of dubious
lineage is ongoing. This scan has been around since the early '80's and
will probably never cease. The Chamber gets reports from members every day
and receives at least 4 or 5 a week.

The scam is both irritating and worrying, as many people have fallen for it.
We have contacted the commercial crimes unit and if you receive one of these
scams you can report it to Captain Mark Purchase at the following email
address: [EMAIL PROTECTED], or you can look for further details of
action being taken on: http://home.rica.net/alphae/419coal/
