I'm trying to upgrade our SA install to 2.55, but when I try to use CPAN I get a whole bunch of errors:

t/basic_lint.t 1 1 100.00% 1
t/db_awl_path.t 4 1 25.00% 3
t/db_based_whitelist.t 8 1 12.50% 1
t/db_based_whitelist_ips.t 8 1 12.50% 1
t/whitelist_addrs.t 5 1 20.00% 5

Most of them seem to involve this error message:

Use of uninitialized value in hash element at /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.6.1/Getopt/Long.pm line 834.

Which I think means there's something wrong with my perl install (5.6.1, as noted in the path above), but I'm not sure what.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
