Hmmm... from [1]:

So this might concern SpamAssassin(tm) more than one thinks as that name is 
also tardemarked. Or better it might concern NAI, which is the holder of 
that trademark.

But I always thought you get a trademark always only for some "class" of 
product. So Hormel is definitely in the food business while the SpamArrest 
guys tried to get a trademark as an ISP and software vendor.
