The thought that comes immediately to my mind is that maybe we should all be sharing our personal rules more. I'm sure everyone here has a few "works for me" type rules they're afraid to share because either they think the rule only suits their own spam or they don't want to give the rule to the spammers. If we compiled and published a page of well-documented user's rules it would be useful as a learning aid, the sheer diversity of possible "works for me" combinations would present a total minefield for any spammer trying to abuse it, and any feedback on those rules might help the SA developers choose rules or ideas to adopt from.
