Hi,

I"ve been using SA with Kmail for a couple of months and I don't have that
problem at all. (I get around 25 spam msg's every day)

I'll tell you what I did which has worked for me. First, create Kmail filters
to filter all your HAM msg's . I have like 40 rules (for firends and
newsletters I'm subscribed). Then you should use the last two rules for SA.

As you can see I don't use the SA whitelist feature (since I"m already
filtering ham with Kmail, there's no need to use a SA whitelist). So in my
scenario, if the message reaches to the end of my Kmail filter list, it is
PROBABLY a spam message (THEN I use SA). The key is to filter emails -as
much as you can- with Kmail filters. Leave the SA to the end of the rules
list.

Ahh! What are you using for scanning msg's? spamc or spamassassin? You should
definitelly use spamc.

HTH,
Jorge
