You can implement rules by adding them to the local.cf file;
here's an example of a ruleset for body:

body BODY_PLING /\!\!\!+/
describe BODY_PLING Body has lots of exclamation points
score BODY_PLING 1.0

If you wanted the ruleset to apply to information in the
header, you would put:

header [Name of Rule]

The "describe" part is not required - it's just for your own
reference. I have some of my own rulesets for porn that
have such disgusting words specified that no further
description is needed.

Be sure to give your custom rules a different name than SA
rules - you might try adopting a different naming convention
entirely, such as prefacing each rule with your initials.

You can ALSO use the local.cf file to increase the score for
various SA rules.

Finally, you can use the ruleset to put in NEGATIVE scores
that will help "good" email bypass spamassassin. For example
an ostrich breeder could assign a score of -50 for the word
"ostrich" - this would mean that mail describing the
breeding practices of ostriches would get through, but other
spam would not.

Hope this helps,

Abigail
