Yeah, I think that outlook 2003 headers may need to get rolled into SA fairly soon. They're really pushing that thing down our throats where I work (Microsoft) and i expect that there will be quite a few people using it even before the RTM version, given that visually it is a massive improvement over OXP, and that's all it takes for a lot of people.

I'm also curious to see how SA will handle messages encrypted with the new protection schemes builtin to office 2003, but that's a whole other story.

Hi -

Since the rule for FORGED_MUA_OUTLOOK is 3.5 points, and our threshold is set at 4.0 (we get an ungodly amount of spam) then we're having a lot of trouble with mail wrongly being marked as spam, when the mail is coming from Outlook 2003. (We have the 2003 Beta 2 software from M$.)

How do I suggest to the SA people to add this header information to Spamassassin, or how do I do it myself? I still want the forged header check, but this is a valid Outlook header!

Headers in question are:

X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook, Build 11.0.4920
X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.2800.1165
