Hi there, We are doing about 100,000 messages per day with a PIII 933 / 256MB RAM and IDE hard drive! The OS is FreeBSD and the MTA is postfix.
We used to have performance problems until we implemented the -m flag to spamd, and changed the default rbl timeout to 5s. Now we have no performance problems. About 1/3 of the mail we receive is tagged as spam.
