About the same here. ~13k messages a day on a single Sun E250. Dual UII 400MHz, 2GBram. Postfix with spampd. Inbound from Internet, relayed to internal Exchange server. (the available disk is a little larger, though we don't get anywhere near using it all: mirrored 9GB root disks (~3GB used), and a 16GB RAID5 LUN off an EMC array (<1GB used).) I'll be replacing that Sun box with an IBM-based Linux box sometime in the next month or so. It'll probably end up being something like a single P4 2GHz w/ ~1GB of RAM, but I'm still doing price/performance comparisons. I'll probably end up skimpping on CPU and disk space in favor of more RAM and HW RAID. -- Randomly Generated Tagline: "Captain, we're sorry... We thought you were dead.
