Why is this not in the FAQ with a big bold hyperlink on the home page?
Someone else moaned about how the wanted SpamAssassin off their computer not
too long ago and an excellent reply was posted. I intended use it to add a
FAQ entry. However the archive search appears to be totally broken or I am
severely incompetent using it as I get no results for anything I search for.
I only keep 3 days of this list around, can somebody find that response and
re-post it? I would be happy to see that it gets added into the FAQ, someone
else will have to make the link from the homepage.

Best Regards,
Bob

You've gotta give us some more infos. On what system are you running? Which
version of SA bothers you? How exactly does SA "screw up" your messages?

As you're using the MSN Explorer (and Outlook as you said), I don't think
you've got SpamAssassin "on your computer". SpamAssassin itself is Unix
software, not Windows. There are/were some Windows implementations like
SpamAssassin Pro though. Maybe SA is running on your mail server. You
should ask your sysadmin about this.

Maybe he just needs to update your local SA version and/or add some
exceptions for your Outlook notifies. (You could also help us and send us
some examples so we can build exceptions for them.) Btw: I'm curious what
your "good spam program" (I hope you mean "anti-spam" ;-) is. Maybe it is
based on SA?

Cheers,
Malte
