Since the 2.50 release is impending, can someone on the inside briefly explain where the new Bayesian stuff stores what it "learns," and how would this affect those of us running multiple mail servers? I notice Theo mentioned something about the developers mulling over using a database -- any decision yet?

I am runningv2.43 and I am looking forward to upgrading to 2.5.
I am running it on OS X with exim.
I would like to upgrade via CPAN.
What is the likelihood of the upgrade breaking my configuration?
How different is 2.5 from 2.43.

It's pretty different. The average spam on my 2.43 installation scored
around 4-8. The average spam with 2.50 seems to score like 15-20 ::-).

I upgraded yesterday. The only problem I had was in the init scripts
for Debian - I had to add -d to the command line options for spamd.
Other than that, it's running like a charm.
