Hmmm. If you guys were to use DBI to access the .db file, then people could actually have the option of using any backend database. I realize it's too late for the coming release, but maybe it's something worth considering for the future.

No -- 2.50 will store data to a .db file in the spamd server's filesystem.
So it's either

  (a) share it over NFS, or
  (b) have separate bayes dbs for each server.
