This is not how the man page reads. > If you set it to something (i.e. 'en') then the five non-English > locales mentioned I think you simply can't set it to "en" (that'll be just ignored). ok_languages lists all available languages and says to put any in one wants to get. That's straight forward. ok_locales lists only five languages/locales and expresses in backward way to put in any you like. >From the further context of that page I read it this way: there's no way to block locales other than the five given. If you don't set ok_locales *none* of them will be allowed (although it says: "default: all" but otherwise it doesn't make sense because then it would mean that you have to allow at least *one* of the five.). If you want to allow any of them you have to set ok_locales and put in the ones you like. I guess the reasoning behind this "upside down" way is that SA is latin-character centric which means most admins would just like to block non-latin characters while a korean admin may want to get all latin plus the korean stuff. So the sentence "If you wish SpamAssassin to block spam in foreign languages, set this to the locale which matches your preference, from the list below:" is biased from the view of a ja/ko/ru/th/zh admin who wants to allow one of these (hos own) but not the others. I'm still not sure, though, what the difference between ok_languages and ok_locales is or if I'm wrong. Time that somebody from the SA core team explains this or put up a better explanation on the man page :-) Kai -- Kai Schätzl, Berlin, Germany Get your web at Conactive Internet Services: http://www.conactive.com IE-Center: http://ie5.de & http://msie.winware.org ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.NET email is sponsored by: SourceForge Enterprise Edition + IBM + LinuxWorld = Something 2 See! http://www.vasoftware.com _______________________________________________ Spamassassin-talk mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/spamassassin-talk
