I normally use spamd, and its performance seems fine, but I recently had a reasons to
fire-up spamassassin. It seems unusually slow to do just about anything..even to do a
"spamassassin -V". Definition of slow: about 20 seconds to just to a ' -V'. Just
wondering if anyone had any input about this...using 2.43. My machine has 64 megs of
RAM and I have a LOT of things running in the background: mysql, apache, sendmail,
stunnel, etc., so I suppose I've answered my own question. Nevertheless, I remember
using earlier versions of SA and doing spamassassin -t type stuff without any
noticeable delays. That was back around 2.3x if I remember correctly. Thanks
