By default, SpamAssassin changes mime headers in suspected spam in order to prevent viruses, malicious javascript, etc., from running. Setting defang_mime to 0 tells it to stop doing that. As someone else suggested, you may also want to set "report_header 1" and "use_terse_report 1" to further prevent any modification to the message body.
