I just installed spamassasin and all the suggested/required modules on a box running SPARC Solaris 8 and perl 5.8.0. SpamAssassin is working fine on plain text messages and I get the added headers and can filter them out using procmail, etc. The problem is in using Spam Assassin on a HTML mail message. I get the following error:
nemo# cd /var/mail nemo# spamassassin -t < brenden > spam.out ld.so.1: /usr/local/bin/perl: fatal: relocation error: file /usr/perl5/site_perl/5.005/sun4-solaris/auto/HTML/Parser/Parser.so: symbol Perl_safemalloc: referenced symbol not found Killed nemo# I did install HTML::Parser again to make sure that it was up to date, but that didn't make any difference. Any ideas?
