Each user would put recipes in their ~/.procmailrc file to filter through SA. Opting in/out would be as simple as using/not using the recipes. Here's a basic example:
###################### # SpamAssassin ###################### :0fw | spamc :0: * X-Spam-Status: Yes $MAILDIR/Spam ###################### # End SpamAssassin ###################### If you're not using spamd, substitute "spamassassin" for "spamc" in the above example. You can find out more about procmail by issuing the command: man procmailrc If the users don't have shell access, this won't be easy to maintain. You should probably look at the mysql/SA integration in that case. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Carmine DiMascio Sent: Wednesday, November 27, 2002 8:23 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [SAtalk] Basic System Wide Setup (newbie) Hi guys, I've just setup spamassassin on a red hat linux 8.0 box.
