Sendmail is complaining about one of the directories in the path /var/opt/rav/run being group-writable. It's a security feature.
Make sure that each directory in the path is not group writable. Start with /var/opt/rav/run, then /var/opt/rav, then /var/opt, then /var. If any of them are group-writable, sendmail won't start. If I remember correctly, sendmail has a configuration option that turns this security feature off, so you may want to look for it. I would recommend finding the group-writable directory and fixing it, though.
