I'm sorry for insisting in this question , the reason is that I have not
other way to solve this problem
I hope you understand:

I installed sendmail 8.12.6 and everything was going well, but when I moved
to spamassassin I begin to get problems . I'd like to get you help

When I try to send a mail this message appear:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] Connecting to localhost.mydomain via relay...
[EMAIL PROTECTED] Deferred: Connection refused by
localhost.mydomain

I followed a sugestion of Mr. Matt (sendmail -bDv to see if sendmail was
working properly) and I saw this lines:
/etc/mail/sendmail.cf: line 1206: XRAVMilter: local socket name
  /var/opt/rav/run/RAVMilter.sock unsafe: Group writable directory

I already tried this (as root as sugestion of Mr. Wolfgang Fritz ):
cd /var/opt/rav
chmod 755 run

but nothing changed: I'm still not knowing what to do in order to get
 at least my sendmail working.

I don't know if this are going to help but that is what appear when I reboot
my server:
......
Starting standard daemons: inetd cron sendmail 451 4.0.0
/etc/mail/sendmail.cf : line 1206: XRAVMilter: local socket name
var/opt/rav/run/RAVMilter.sock unsafe: Group writable directory
......
Starting RAVMilter...
Can't open '/var/opt/rav/run/RAVMilter.pid'(Permission denied)

What do you sugest me to do?

I'm running freeBSD4.6.2 RELEASE, I'm also using ravmilter as mail filter

Thanks in advance!
