Out mail server slowly bogs down when running spamd/spamc locally but I need to have the ability for users to change their spam level. If I setup a remote spamd server that just does spamd and use the mail server to contact it, will it still use the user settings from the mail server? I guess my question is, does spamc do the processing of the user prefs or does the spamd have to have those files locally? We are running a Dell PowerEdge 1650 with 512M of RAM, but the load average slowly craws up and up (6 ot 7) and without procmailrc forwarding the mail to spamc, the load average stays 0.1 to 0.3. I am not using remote tests.
Any guidence would greatly be appreciated. Sincerely, Doug Eubanks [EMAIL PROTECTED] ----------------------------------------- This email was sent from ccdmerchandise.com.
