In particular, i've had success with removing the cleanupchildren call
from REAPER. It seems that "If you're on IRIX or some other system that
forces waits in a SIGCHLD handler, enable a switch if you want -m" is
more sensible than "-m is borken, anyone who needs it is SOL"...
