Really? Good lord. That's awful. Does it allow you to specify a rule like 'header contains "*****" AND header does not contain "**********"'? That would work. Slightly annoying, admittedly. You'd have to decide if it's more work to modify SpamAssassin or enter longer rules in GroupWise. >2) It does not place the level in front of the user without also having >some kind of a number (yes, I am assuming that my users can't handle >numbers). I bet most people could understand "messages with ten stars are more likely to be spam than messages with three stars", or an explanation like that. I agree there would probably be a few that couldn't even handle that, but in my experience those people probably couldn't handle setting up any kind of mail rule, either, so it won't matter much (i.e., you'll have to do it for them anyway). Only the person setting up the rule needs to understand the numbers. The person using the computer doesn't need to know there are numbers involved -- messages just get filed into their folders like "possibly spam", "definitely spam", etc. >NOTE: This message is intended only for the use of the individual >or entity to which it is addressed. Ugh. I hereby reject these terms.
