You're just not going to do a better job of optimizing scores than the GA will,
though you might be seeing some "unusual" email that's not paralleling the
corpus well.  A better approach would be to use the default scores, default
threshold, and then try and see what's slipping through, and why, then
constructing new rules to catch those slippery mails.
